So the thing is, what does Infatuation mean?....."its to inspire with unreasoning love or attachment".simply put its a folly. where one is deceived beyond redemption of a feeling that does not exist. Interestingly many of us fall easily into it, we think we feel something for someone just because he compliments you a lot or because he calls you a lot, well maybe the person really likes you or tells you that he like you or she likes you,what exactly is the reason behind how you truly feel for him or her?...is it a foolish or unreasoning fondness?.........if that's it, then my dear you are infatuated!.
Infatuation is many a times mistaken for love, because of the closeness or better still the fondness......however it is not LOVE!....Have you ever asked yourself what exactly you are fond of?....if what you are fond of stops today will it change how you truly feel?....can your feelings stand the test of times and grow stronger or rather weaker?
Love is selfless.......it is simply loving the other person more than you love yourself, its has a lot of attributes which involves one to be gentle, patient, i mean you can literally accept any bullshit!. Taking all the imperfections and seeing the beauty that attracted you to the person in the first place, there is a saying that the beauty is from within and if you want to get gold you will have to dig deeper into the earth to get it so also the beauty that you are so craving for from your partner can only come from patient digging and perseverance.
But truthfully speaking, if you don't love GOD you cannot fully love your fellow man, GOD is love, until you truly love HIM then will you be able to love someone else wholeheartedly. So are you in love or infatuated?.....make it right!
